As part of their entrepreneurship project, the students designed Carlyle-branded knapsacks and hoodies to help promote their school. The hoodies were heat-stamped with the Carlyle crest and a unique 105-year insignia and will be raffled off during the anniversary celebration. Meanwhile, the special Carlyle knapsacks will be given to new families during the "Welcome to Kindergarten" event on June 6, as the school greets the next generation of students.

The initiative also included a Grade 4 advertising campaign, where students collaborated with local merchants to promote their project. As a token of appreciation, participating merchants will receive a Carlyle hoodie, knapsack, and recognition in the school's yearbook. The students are learning valuable lessons in networking while strengthening community ties and reinforcing their entrepreneurial skills.

Carlyle's win at the regional level highlights the creativity of its students and the strength of the school's connection to its local community. The Carlyle community is rallying behind this outstanding example of student-led innovation as they prepare for nationals. As Carlyle continues to groom the next generation of global-minded learners, it's clear that the students are already making a local impact one backpack at a time.
