A special thank you to Librairie Paragraphe, Industria Pizzeria & Bar, Pikchur PhotoBooth,  105.1 MIKE FM, Les Délices Lafreanie, Laurier Macdonald Adult Centre and Polysleep for their generous support in acknowledging the work of our students.

This event was inspired by the idea of a Grade 5 Student Council student at Pierre de Coubertin Elementary, Elvie Kikewa Okandze, and brought to fruition through the dedication of the administration teams of all five participating schools. Key contributors include Personal Development and Community Involvement Animators Vince Lacroce, Mary Poullas, and Veronica D’Agata; Sara Luciano, Isabelle Moreau, and Lidia Niro, teachers at Pierre de Coubertin Elementary; Giuliana Terriaca and Sabrina Gomes-Cardoso, Special Education Technicians at Pierre de Coubertin Elementary; and Julia Muro, Anna Tzouvadakis, Annie Cacchiotti, and Chelsea Suan, teachers at Nesbitt Elementary.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to the administration team of Laurier Macdonald High School, Cristina Celzi and Jessica Monti, along with Veronica De Ciccio, for their support and set design contributions, ensuring a spectacular tournament experience for all.

This first-ever “Bee Brilliant” Spelling Bee Tournament is set to inspire young minds and foster a sense of unity and excellence across the East End community. Join us as we celebrate the power of words and the brilliance of our young learners.
